I recently preformed an acer restore on my aspire v3-551 (running windows 7 64bit), and after completing it i am now missing my wireless network driver… i have gone onto acer’s website and attempted to download a wireless adapter from there in specific wireless lan, broadcom, wireless lan driver (which appears to just be an ethernet driver?)…. I have an acer aspire 5750 laptop (32 bit). i updated the service pack (sp1) which i downloaded from the microsoft website . the sp1 ( windows6.1-kb976932-x86.exe ) was updated successfully but after the update the wifi symbol (signal bars) is missing..
