Twitter Finally Relaxes 140 Character Limit
Twitter finally relaxes the 140 character limit that’s been its signature feature since its launch. Twitter has excluded images, quotes, and other media to count from its 140-character limit of tweets. The move was announce today by social media giant.
You can only get 140 characters towards text messages and links, but adding quotes, polls, videos, or images will no longer reduce precious characters.
We have been expecting twitter to make this move before now, Twitter likely worried about the implications of expending its character limit; the brevity of tweets has largely defined the social network’s character. This seems like a fair compromise.
The company did consider increasing the limit to 10,000 characters once upon a time, according to Recode, but the idea was scrapped. In the meantime, the Verge reports the company is testing other ways to give you more breathing room:
The company is also testing out new replies that will omit the username of the person you are replying to from the character limit. If you reply to multiple people at once, Twitter only omits the person who sent the original tweet from the character count.

Android 7.0 Nougats Data Saver option will be better then the one available in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Good news is that there will be update that will be far more useful for those of you who are on limited data plan.
Before, Androids Data Saver would shut down all data usage when a specific limit was hit on the systems data usage statistics. But, in Android 7.0 the feature will be more nuanced and smarter. Now, Android will check to see if youre on a metered wireless connection (including prepaid and roaming) or on an unlimited plan, and if it finds youre on a metered plan it will continuously limit the amount of background data an app can use. Of course, you can always whitelist certain apps if you want to have them be able to update to the fullest in the background.
The aim is to help make sure you can avoid (or at least delay as much as possible) hitting your data usage limit in the first place, rather than only taking action once your limit has been hit. The new features have been discovered by changes noticed in the “ConnectivityManager” API in the Android Nougat SDK.
