APPLE STAR OF CHRISTMAS WITH ITS IPHONE VERY FAR AHEAD OF SAMSUNG AND HUAWEI!
As every year, Flurry Analytics reports the number of activations of smartphones and tablets during the Christmas week to give its ranking of the most pledged brands. This year again, Apple is the star of Christmas with its iPhone. Samsung and Huawei are far behind.
It has now become a Christmas tradition. Every year, a few days after December 25, the firm Flurry Analytics delivers the results of a study on the number of activations of smartphones and tablets during the Christmas week. This year, Apple is the star with its iPhone but also the iPad.
Thus, according to Flurry Analytics "Apple mobile devices continue to be the gift to offer." It must be said that the brand Apple has registered 44% of new activations of mobile devices through the iPhone and iPad.
Number 2 is far behind. The great rival Apple, Samsung, has recorded "only" 21% of activations. It is still half as much as its main competitor. What brings Flurry Analytics to perfectly summarize:
For every Samsung device activated, Apple has had two.
For the rest, the competition was literally crushed. Huawei represents only 3% of activations while LG, Amazon, Oppo, Xiaomi and Motorola are all within 2% of activations. Notably absent from this ranking are the Google Pixel and Pixel XL .
Flurry Analytics says that with only two terminals and "a mixed reception on the market, Google has failed to generate excitement for this holiday season." We will also add that Pixels have not been launched anywhere in the world unlike competitors products.
More generally, smartphones displaying a diagonal between 5 and 6.9 inches have cardboard.The PHABLET indeed represent 37% of activations against 27% last year and 13% in 2014. But no matter how the market is Apple still dominates at Christmas.
